The Festival is a great tradition. Every year more than 15,000 people gather at Limassol’s Molos to celebrate the unique relationship between Russia and Cyprus. More than 500 actors, dancers and singers from both countries take part in a non-stop 8 hour concert program. The Festival is opened by the President of Cyprus Demetris Christofias
• 15.00-23.00 – Festive Fair, exhibitions, great fun for people of different nationalities and ages
• 15.00-18.40 – more than 20 shows and concerts by Russian and Cypriot groups and organizations .
• 19.00-19.40 – Official opening ceremony (H.E. President of the Republic of Cyprus, Ambassadors, Ministers, Mayors, Members of Parliament and Municipal councils, official delegation from Moscow). Speeches, Award presentation, TV and photo sessions
• 19.40-21.00 – Official VIP Reception
• 19.40-21.30 – Official Gala Concert
• 21.30-22.50 – Performance by a famous Russian singer Anita Tsoy and her group
• 22.55 – Fireworks
