On 7th of March Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company organized a site visit in the framework of Civitas Destinations. The Site visit provided information regarding the action ‘Increase cycling and walking in combination with special interest tourist activities’ as well as promoting walking /cycling routes that have been designed and mapped in Pissouri area. Participants exchanged opinions and discussed mechanisms for the promotion of the routes.
Furthermore, participants took part in the site visit and had the opportunity to walk the trail of "Genesis Aphrodite”. Signs have been placed in the trail that provide basic information about the trail. Participants were excited by the beautiful landscape and plantation in the trail. Also, they expressed their desire to take part in similar events in the future. The Pissouri Community Council supported the action.
