Wednesday, March 6, 2024
7.30 p.m. Theomaria Art Gallery
(7 Vasilissis Karlottas & Eleni Paleologina Str.)
The Theomaria Art Gallery is hosting a mask exhibition with the theme "Carnival is Colour! Colour in life! Colour in art!" by Vera Efthimios Parlalidou.
The opening of the exhibition will be held by the Mayor of Limassol, Mr. Nikos Nicolaidis.
8:00 p.m - Welcome to the Limassol carnival
With carols from various groups in a tour through the narrow and romantic streets of the city.
The vocal ensemble of the Cultural Group “Diastasi” will sing in the adjacent streets. The starting point is the Municipal University Library.
Kantadori (traditional carnival singers) will sing passing Gladstonos Street, the Medieval Castle square and and Pantopoliou Square.
Stinky Thursday, March 7th , 2024
11.00 am. - Carnival event with music and treats in front of the Hellenic Bank (Gladstonos Street) and the Bank of Cyprus (Agios Andreou Street opposite Agia Napa Church).
13.30 p.m. - Traditional carnival singers’ - DJ program until 5.00 pm.
18.00 p.m. Town hall
The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with the Union of Limassol Self-taught Painters are organizing a Painting Exhibition with the theme "Carnival 2024".
Grigoris Auxentiou Square
18.00 p.m. – Event in Grigoris Auxentiou Square with carnival music.
19.00 p.m. - The Mayor and the Municipal Council, the Royal Family, the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Limassol, the Majorettes of the Corps of Cypriot Guides and the Majorettes of Limassol start the mini parade from the Patticheio Municipal Theatre, towards Grigori Auxentiou Square (Area Administration Ofiice). The traditional carnival singers’ Giorgalletoi and Kantadori Ariones are ahead.
19.30 p.m. -The Queen of Limassol, “The Jewel of the Mediterranean” enters the city on an impressive chariot . The ceremony will be followed by a carnival party.
The chariots of the the traditional carnival singers as well as the philharmonic band of the Municipality of Limassol together with the Majorettes will parade from the Patticheio Municipal Theatre to the end of Anexartisias Street.

Night of the traditional carnival singers’ (Kantadoros)
19.00 p.m. Square of the Medieval Castle of Limassol
Route: Starts from Irini Str. (Channel 6) and ends at the Medieval Castle Square.
Saturday, March 9th , 2024
10.30 am - Hellenic Bank (Gladstonos Street)
The Municipality's train tour in the city center will starts at 10.30am.
12:00 p.m - The Choir of Maria Diamantidou and the mandolin player of Georgia Kobous sing on Agiou Andreou Street ending at the square of the Medieval Castle of Limassol.
15.00 p.m. - The members of the Limassol Cycling Club will cycle through the city in a Carnival mood.
Start and Finish: Medieval Castle Square.
18.00 p.m.- Traditional carnival singers’ event outside the Municipal University Library. (Saint Andrew Str.)
The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with the groups of traditional carnival singers’ "Kantadoroi Limassol" organize an event with carnival songs.
Sunday, March 10th , 2024
11.30 am - Children's Carnival parade.
Starts: Coastal Road, traffic lights of Public Garden towards the Old Port.
Ends : Molos parking lot below the "Red" coffee shop (second parking lot).
The parade will start with the Chariot of the Queen of Limassol, the jewel of the Mediterranean, The Majorettes of the Cypriot Drivers' Corps and the Limassol Majorettes.
18.30 p.m. – The Traditional carnival singers’ event outside Perama
Carob Mill - Cartoon exhibition in collaboration with the Association of Cypriot Cartoonists "GEL.A." and the "Caricature and Sketch Pin Workshop" and a photo exhibition by FEK Limassol Department.
The exhibition will beopen until March 18th , 2024.
20.30 p.m. – Music show by Bessy Argyraki and Sofia Arvaniti.

20.00 p.m. - EVENING CARNIVAL FOOTBALL
Start: Grigoris Auxentiou Square
End: Medieval Castle Square
The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with the association "Friends of the Limassol Carnival" organize this year the Evening Carnival Walk with the slogan "Night Masquerade Walks"., with the participation of “Batukinio” Percussion Band” and Limassol Majorettes.
The Queen of Limassol Carnival will lead the way.
8.30 p.m. - "Thursday's Dance", Medieval Castle Square
The Municipality of Limassol invites you to the big dance on Thursday to sing and dance with the Evridiki singer - “Blue Duets” and six-member band. A program with Greek and English songs.

The Municipality of Limassol in collaboration with the CLICK FM and CHOICE FM are organizing for the 8th consecutive year the carnival BIG STREET PARTY.

10.30 am - Hellenic Bank (Gladstonos Street)
Limassol City centre Tour with Limassol's Municipality train starts at 10.30am. A priority order for all children who will come to the venue.
15.00 p.m. - The Old Car Club of Limassol on a carnival route through the city. They will start from the Enaerio parking lot and end at Grigoris Auxentiou Square.
19.00 p.m. – The Traditional Carnival Singers (Kantadoroi) in Grigoris Auxentiou Square
The musical event will strat at 8.30 p.m.
21.00 p.m. - Carob Mill
"At the old discotheque" - musical show with Greek songs of the 60s-80s, with Andrias Aggelis, Anna Vilanidis, Byronas Giorkas, Sotiris Constantis, Andreas Protopapas, Andrias Souroullas

End: Polemidion traffic lights (Fairways)
13.00 p.m. - the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Limassol, the Majorettes of the Cypriot Drivers' Corps, the Traditional Carnival Singers (Kantadoroi), the Batukinio percussion band and the Limassol Majorettes.
Parade led by the Limassol Carnival Queen, the jewel of the Mediterranean, and her entourage, with floats and groups of pedestrians.
The impressive floats of the Municipality of Limassol will enrich this year's parade.
21.00 p.m.- Outdoor Carnival Dance – Old Port Square
We say goodbye to the Limassol carnival with an outdoor event with carnival dance, with the DJ Panikos Karpetas in a complete carnival program full of fun, rhythm and dance.
Pellomaska and SMART MASK Competition – Prizes for the three best costumes.
Procedure for issuing free entry tickets for the Lanitis Carob Mill
Participation in the events of the Limassol Carnival that will take place at the Carob Mill is free for the public.
All tickets must be booked through the website www.ticketmaster.cy, or from the box office of the Patticheio Municipal Theater, or from ACS Courier stores.
For the tickets there will be a first-in, first-served procedure. The maximum number of tickets per person is 4.
