Limassol Carnival Programme 2026

Tuesday 10 February

7:00 p.m. | Panos Solomonides Municipal Cultural Centre

Honorary event for: Louli Katsounotos, Artemakis Zachariou, Akis Georgiou (Taitos) and Miltos Papadopoulos.
The event is held under the auspices of the Mayor of Limassol and is organised by carnival participants and friends of the honourees.

Carnival Museum opening hours: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday 11 February

7:00 p.m. | Theomaria Art Hall
(Vasilissis Karlottas Street 7 & Elenis Palaiologinas)

Theomaria Art Hall hosts, for the 19th consecutive year, a mask exhibition by Vera Efthymiou Parlialidou.

12 February

7:30 a.m.

The celebration starts early with the established “First Foukou”, which will take place at the offices of Lemesos Media Group, 67 Omonias Street, marking the start of the day in a festive and traditional atmosphere.

10:00 a.m.

Carnival celebration with music and treats in front of Eurobank (Gladstonos Street) and Bank of Cyprus (Agios Andreou Street, opposite Agia Napa Church).

1:30 p.m.

The group “Kantadoroi Limassol” sing at Saripolou Square for everyone.

Grigoris Afxentiou Square

5:30 p.m.
Grigoris Afxentiou Square (District Administration) comes alive and draws us into the rhythms of Carnival, with music and songs by the band “Lopodytes”, in an Old School Project. Participating musicians: Christos Katsounotos – vocals/electric guitar, Andreas Kerberos – electric bass, Nikolas Petrou – vocals/piano and Marinos Charalambidis – drums.

6:30 p.m.
With passion and madness, the future Queen is dressed at the Municipal Hall.

7:00 p.m.

The Mayor and the Municipal Council, the Royal Family, the Limassol Municipality Philharmonic Band, the Majorettes of the Cyprus Girl Guides and the Limassol Majorettes will depart in procession from the Municipal Hall heading towards Grigoris Afxentiou Square (District Administration).

The procession will follow Archbishop Kyprianou, Agios Andreou and Anexartisias streets.

Along the route, the procession will meet the kantadoroi group “Ariones” and the float of the Queen of Passion and Madness of the Limassol Carnival. At Grigoris Afxentiou Square they will be welcomed by the percussion group Batukinio, followed by the coronation ceremony.

7:30 p.m.

Coronation ceremony of the Queen of Passion and Madness of the Limassol Carnival.

This is followed by a carnival party with singing and dancing entitled “Back to the 80s and 90s”.
Participating artists: Tevkros Neokleous – vocals/acoustic guitar, Marilena Charalambidou – vocals, Antonis Pafios – saxophone, Andreas Epaminondas – electric guitar, Mike Michael – keyboards, Marios Georgitsis – bass and Stefanos Meletiou – drums.

The fun continues with DJ LeSkouf in a carnival programme.

Impressive projection mapping on the building of the Limassol District Administration, transforming its architecture into a dynamic audiovisual spectacle.

This is Limassol! Come everyone in costume!

Friday 13 February

Kantadoroi Evening

7:00 p.m. | Lanitis Carob Mill

Participating choirs and groups: Modern Times Choir, Cypriot Kantadoroi Group, Kantadoroi Limassol, Ariones Kantadoroi, EDON Limassol Kantadoroi, Choir of the Cultural Association of EAC Employees, Male Vocal Ensemble “Ilantron” and the choir “Musical Wanderings”.

Saturday 14 February

10:00 a.m. | Panos Solomonides Municipal Cultural Centre

Pellomaska workshop and handmade hat creation by Carnival Queens Monika Pieridou and Elena Papadopoulou. Handmade carnival mask creation by the Art Workshop of the Municipality of Limassol.

Participating are the children’s groups of Limassol Majorettes and the Cyprus Girl Guides Majorettes.

Carnival Museum opening hours: 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. | Agia Fyla Square

The Cultural and Dance Association of Limassol “Dionysos” presents the event “The Great Carnival Days”, an authentic carnival celebration full of joy, music and tradition, through satirical and humorous songs inspired by the spirit and customs of Carnival.

3:30 p.m.

Members of the Limassol Cycling Club cycle through the city in carnival spirit.
Start and Finish: Medieval Castle Square.

6:00 p.m.

Kantadoroi event outside the Municipal University Library (Agios Andreou Street).

9:00 p.m. | Lanitis Carob Mill

The party “Valentine’s Goes Carnival” promises wild rhythms, dancing and endless fun, with DJ Panicos Karpettas on the decks.

Awards for the best Valentine-themed costume.

Sunday 15 February

11:30 a.m. | Children’s Carnival Parade

Start: Seafront Road, Public Garden traffic lights, heading towards the Old Port.

Finish: Molos parking area below the café “Red” (second parking area).

The parade will be led by the children’s percussion group Batukinio.

Following will be the Queen of Passion and Madness of the Limassol Carnival with her impressive float and stilt walkers.

Participating are the Cyprus Girl Guides Majorettes and the Limassol Majorettes.

4:30 p.m.

Kantadoroi event outside Perama.

8:30 p.m. | Lanitis Carob Mill

Time Surfers Party Band with an irresistible disco party repertoire.

Monday 16 February

7:30 p.m. | Lanitis Carob Mill

Opening of cartoon exhibition in cooperation with the Cyprus Cartoonists Association “GEL.A.” and the “Pin Cartoon & Sketch Workshop”, and photography exhibition by FEK Limassol Branch.

The exhibition will remain open until 23 February 2026.

8:00 p.m.

Carnival celebration titled “Red Egg or Carnival”, featuring 40 performers on stage.

Tuesday 17 February

7:30 p.m. | Night Pellomaska Parade

Start: Limassol Marina Square
Finish: Medieval Castle Square

8:00 p.m. | “Tuesday Dance” – Medieval Castle Square

Music and dancing with Cuban Guns and DJ Bereck.

Pellomaska and Smart Mask Competition – prizes for the three best costumes.

Wednesday 18 February

8:00 p.m. | Lanitis Carob Mill

Men’s Four-Part Choir of Limassol with old kantades and carnival songs.

The Municipality of Limassol honours Athina Xenopoulou and Pantelis Mitsiou.

Thursday 19 February

7:30 p.m. | Evening Carnival Walking Parade

Start: Grigoris Afxentiou Square
Finish: Medieval Castle Square

8:00 p.m. | “Thursday Dance” – Medieval Castle Square

Concert Carnival Reloaded, followed by DJ Mad Max.

Pellomaska and Smart Mask Competition – prizes for the three best costumes.

Friday 20 February

7:00 p.m. | Pattichio Municipal Theatre

Children’s Choirs concert.

Entrance €5. Proceeds go to the Municipal Social Grocery.

9:00 p.m. | Lanitis Carob Mill

Concert “In the Crazy Carnival”.

Tickets must be secured via Ticketmaster.

Saturday 21 February

11:30 a.m. | Pattichio Municipal Theatre

“The Carnival of the World” – interactive musical storytelling.

Entrance €5. Proceeds go to the Municipal Social Grocery.

9:00 p.m. | Lanitis Carob Mill

Music performance from disco hits to international dance music of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.

Participation in Limassol Carnival events at the Lanitis Carob Mill is free of charge.

Tickets can be obtained online via www.ticketmaster.cy

Tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
