The Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP Limassol) announces that Andreas Tsoulouftas has assumed the position of President of its Board of Directors. Mr Tsoulouftas, who currently serves as President of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEL), succeeds the late Tony Antoniou, following his untimely passing.

Mr Tsoulouftas’ appointment comes at a particularly challenging time for the organisation. The late Tony Antoniou served ETAP Limassol with dedication and consistency, leaving a significant and lasting imprint on its work and overall course.

Mr Tsoulouftas brings with him many years of experience in the business and institutional sectors, as well as in-depth knowledge of the needs and prospects of the local economy. His objective is to continue and further strengthen the work of ETAP Limassol, with a strong emphasis on sustainable tourism development, close cooperation with all local stakeholders, and the enhancement of Limassol’s international promotion.

During the first meeting of the Board of Directors of ETAP Limassol, held on 21 January 2026 under the chairmanship of Mr Tsoulouftas, the key priorities for the continuation of the organisation’s work were set. Particular emphasis was placed on close collaboration and collective efforts with municipalities, institutions, and tourism-sector businesses for the promotion and upgrading of Limassol’s tourism product—one distinguished by its uniqueness and diversity—with the ultimate goal of further strengthening tourism development across the district.
