Governor’s Beach Kalymnos

Located directly on the coast, about 20 km east of Limassol, the Governor’s Beach Kalymnos Campsite is perfectly situated between Limassol and Larnaca, just off the motorway. It offers a peaceful seaside escape with a total capacity of 230 caravans and 247 tent plots, making it one of the largest and most popular camping areas in Cyprus.

Facilities include toilets, showers, a launderette with coin-operated machines and dryers, and a seafront restaurant serving local dishes. During July and August, a small supermarket operates on-site for campers’ convenience. The campsite is open all year round, offering direct access to the beach and stunning views of the Mediterranean.

Troodos Mountains

Kambi tou Kaloyirou

The Kambi Kalogerou Camping Site is one of the most beautiful and popular camping areas in the Troodos Mountains. Surrounded by dense pine forests and crisp mountain air, it offers an authentic camping experience in the heart of nature.

This site is ideal for true outdoor enthusiasts, as it provides only the essentials — parking, toilets, drinking water, and areas for barbecues. There is no electricity or cafeteria, ensuring a peaceful and simple stay for those who wish to disconnect and enjoy time with family or friends in a serene natural environment.

The campsite offers space for both tents and caravans but does not include designated cooking or shower facilities. During the summer months, particularly from June to September, it attracts numerous visitors seeking a refreshing escape from the heat of the lowlands.

Located at an altitude of 1,540 meters near the village of Prodromos, the site can accommodate up to 80 tents or caravans and around 300 campers. A nearby natural spring, which has historically supplied water to surrounding villages, adds to the charm and authenticity of this mountain retreat.

Located 5 km from Troodos Square, on the left side of the road leading to the Prodromos Dam, this peaceful picnic area sits at an altitude of 1,600 m. Surrounded by lush forest and overlooking the dam, it offers picnic tables, drinking water, and barbecue facilities, accommodating up to 250 visitors in a serene natural setting.
Located 6 km from Platres, before the Trooditissa Monastery, this scenic picnic area sits at 1,300 m altitude amid the Troodos pine forest. It offers tables, drinking water, barbecue spots, and parking, accommodating up to 700 visitors in a peaceful natural setting.
Situated along the Kakopetria–Troodos road, 8 km from Karvounas and 2 km before Troodos Square, this picnic site is accessible via a dirt path to the right of the road. At 1,650 m altitude, it offers picnic tables, drinking water, and barbecue areas surrounded by pine forest, with a maximum capacity of 400 visitors.
Located along the Kakopetria–Troodos road, 7.5 km from Karvounas and 2.5 km before Troodos Square, this large picnic site lies on the left side of the road, just before Leivadi tou Pacha. At 1,600 m altitude, it is surrounded by dense pine forest and offers extensive facilities with picnic tables, drinking water, barbecue areas, and parking, accommodating up to 2,000 visitors.
Located along the Kakopetria–Troodos road, 7.7 km from Karvounas and 2.3 km before Troodos Square, this beautiful picnic site lies on the right side of the road at an altitude of 1,600 m. Surrounded by tall pine trees, it features picnic tables, barbecue areas, drinking water, and parking facilities, with a capacity of up to 1,600 visitors.
Situated along the Saittas–Mesa Potamos Monastery forest road, about 7 km from Saittas and to the left before the monastery, this picnic site lies at an altitude of 900 m. It can also be reached from Pano Platres, Kato Amiantos, or Moniatis via forest roads. Nestled among pine trees, it offers picnic tables, barbecue areas, and drinking water, accommodating up to 700 visitors in a serene natural setting near the Mesa Potamos Waterfall.
Located along the Limassol–Kalo Chorio–Agros road, 3 km from the Gerasa crossroads and 3 km before Kalo Chorio, this picnic site sits at an altitude of 600 m. Surrounded by pine and oak trees, it offers picnic tables, barbecue facilities, drinking water, and parking, accommodating up to 750 visitors in a peaceful natural environment.
Located 6 km south of Louvaras village, along the Louvaras–Kakomallis road and next to the Kakomallis Forest Station, this picnic site lies at an altitude of 900 m. Set within a serene pine forest, it offers picnic tables, barbecue areas, drinking water, and parking, accommodating up to 400 visitors in a calm natural setting.
Situated within the National Forest Park of Polemidia, just 6 km from the center of Limassol, this picnic site lies at an altitude of 160 m. Easily accessible and surrounded by carob and pine trees, it offers picnic tables, barbecue facilities, drinking water, and parking, accommodating up to 200 visitors in a peaceful green setting close to the city.
