The Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP Limassol) held a meeting today, 18 June 2026, with the directors of hotel establishments across the district and the Mayor of Amathounta, Mr. Kyriakos Xydias, aiming to strengthen cooperation for the enhancement of Limassol’s tourism product.

Mr. Xydias highlighted the importance of coordination between the public and private sectors in addressing challenges such as traffic congestion and infrastructure upgrades, emphasizing that these are key factors in improving the visitor experience. He also presented the innovative initiatives being implemented by the Municipality of Amathounta for the benefit of both residents and visitors.

ETAP Limassol Chairman, Mr. Andreas Tsoloftas, provided an update on the organization’s promotional and marketing activities for Limassol, as well as on the new digital tools developed with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism through ETAP’s upgraded website. Particular reference was made to the new interactive route in Limassol’s Historic Centre, as well as to the events section, which enables visitors to easily plan their itinerary and discover authentic experiences tailored to their interests.

During the meeting, representatives of the hotel establishments exchanged views and suggestions regarding the promotion and further enhancement of Limassol’s tourism offering and expressed their support for the work carried out by ETAP Limassol.

ETAP Limassol emphasized that close cooperation among local authorities, tourism stakeholders, and the hotel industry is a key prerequisite for the effective promotion of Limassol and for strengthening its position as a quality destination throughout the year.
