The Animal Welfare Committee of the Limassol Municipality is organizing the event “Love Without Limits – Adopt a Friend” on Sunday, 14 June 2026, at the Limassol Public Garden (Tennis Court), from 15:00 to 19:00.
The event aims to raise public awareness about animal welfare, promote responsible adoption, and strengthen the bond between people and animals. At the same time, citizens will have the opportunity to meet dogs available for adoption and, perhaps, offer them a new home and a second chance in life.
The afternoon programme will include presentations of dogs looking for a home, information about their care and needs, and activities that promote an animal-friendly culture in our city. The contribution of local organizations and partners supporting this effort is also highly valued.
Special emphasis is placed on children through free creative activities, including:

Stilt-Walking Juggler
In addition, the Open School of Limassol Municipality (Mesa Geitonia – Tserkez Tsiflik) will participate with activities for children, further enhancing the social and educational character of the event. The programme will also feature a dance performance by Maria Diamantidou Dance School and a live broadcast connection with Channel 6.
The event “Love Without Limits – Adopt a Friend” is a celebration of compassion, giving, and awareness. The Limassol Municipality invites the public to actively support this initiative, contributing to the protection of animals and the cultivation of a society with greater sensitivity and responsibility.
