Route 4 (Road) - Ayios Amvrosios - Ayios Therapon - Lofou - Kourris - Ayios Amvrosios (31.8 km)
Intermediate road ride. Good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride.
Starting from Ayios Ambrosios, you will pass through the green valley of the Kryos river before you arrive in Ayios Therapon. The route continues uphill, towards Lofou village, between vineyards and other vegetation, with a wonderful view both towards the region of Vouni and Kilani villages and the Mounten Olympus, which is the highest peak of the island.
When you arrive in Lofou village you can pass through the cobblestone streets and afterwards to continue to Kouri Dam. The route to the dam offers an incredible view of both the city of Limassol and the salt marsh area and the shores of Akrotiri. Just before reaching the Kouri Dam, you can stop for a while and enjoying the unique view of the dam that makes you feel like you are right above the surface of the water!
On the way back to Ayios Ambrosios you can enjoy an uphill with a view to the ravines of the area and the old bridges that were used to cross the rivers towards Limassol city.
