Route 5 Gravel - Episkopi - Sotira - Ayios Therapon - Lofou - Kourris – Episkopi (60.8 km)
Expert gravel ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly paved surfaces. Suitable for all skill levels.
The first stop on the route is very close, just 1km from the starting point, and is one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Cyprus, together with the Kouri amphitheatre!
Continuing you will find a dirt track which leads to the wooded area of Sotiras and Souni communities. Although the route is uphill with a wild vegetation, is pleasant a pleasant route and you can stop to enjoy the view of Limassol coast area.
After passing the pine-covered area, near Kyvides village, you will descend towards the Kryos river and after crossing it you will ascend towards the villages Ayios Therapon and Lofou. On both villages you can have a stop and have a coffee to traditional coffee shops.
Arriving in In Lofou village, you can walk through the narrow streets of the village and continue to the Kouri Dam with the wild and rocks and the incredible view.
