Route 8 (MTB long) Kivides - Lofou - Vouni - Ayios Therapon - Ayios Amvrosios – Kivides (44.9 km)
Intermediate e-mountain bike ride. Good fitness required. Suitable for all skill levels.
Kyvides offer an easy solution to start cycling in a green landscape relatively close to the city of Limassol.
After you start cycling you will continuously pass between pine trees and vineyards before descending towards the Kryos river and to climb towards Lofou village.
The route to Lofou is demanding but at the same time beautiful with the wild vegetation and an incredible view.
In Lofou village you can pass through its narrow cobblestone streets and continue cycling to the old school, from where you can have a wonderful view of the village.
Following the route on the mountainside towards Vouni and Kilani you will enjoy the green slopes with the endless vineyards.
Before reaching Kilani and Vouni you can visit the church of Ayia Mavri which is covered by a huge 1200-year-old plane tree.
The route continues towards Ayios Ambrosios before ascending to the starting point in Kivides.
