AGIOU ANDREOU STREET

The oldest and longest commercial street of Limassol, featuring some of the most beautiful neoclassical buildings (Pilavaki Mansion – Municipal Library, Folk Art Museum, and many other private buildings) and commercial arcades that served as small shopping malls.

Historically, Agiou Andreou Street was one of the main commercial streets of Limassol. With clothing stores classifying this street as a haute couture street. Many foreign visitors were visiting Limassol to buy unique fabrics or costumes at Agiou Andreou Street.

Nowadays, the visitor can walk through Agiou Andreou street and visit workshops of traditional art and crafts. More specifically the workshops include painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, fashion designers (bags and shoes), ceramists, mosaic makers, traditional musical instrument makers and galleries. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience local culture and interact with artists.
