Aiming to create activities and experiences in the countryside, the Limassol Tourism Board created last year in cooperation with the Cyprus Climbing Club, a climbing spot in Foinikaria village, offering an exciting and active recreational opportunity for amateurs and expert climbers.
Reaching the top of the rocky mountain offers incredible views towards the Germasogeia dam on one side and the city of Limassol on the other side. This year road signage was added to ensure the climbing spot is easily found by interested climbers. A parking area is offered and the last part of the route requires walking.
Located east of the Germasogeia Dam, Foinikaria village is approximately 7 kilometres (4 miles) away from the Limassol city.
