Information Day & Digital Photography Exhibition of the European Project HERIT ADAPT Interreg Euro-MED in Limassol
The event was held on 11 February 2026, within the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, and was organised by the Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP Limassol).
The Information Day and the Digital Photography Exhibition took place at the Kourion Municipality Town Hall, with the participation of representatives of local authorities, organisations, tourism professionals, and members of the public.
During the Information Day, the objectives, actions, and results of the HERIT ADAPT project were presented. The project focuses on enhancing the resilience of cultural sites through sustainable tourism practices, climate change adaptation actions, and the active involvement of citizens.
At the same time, the Digital Photography Exhibition offered a contemporary visual perspective on the relationship between cultural heritage, landscape, and tourism, highlighting both the challenges and the opportunities that arise within a changing climatic environment.
Overall, the event highlighted the importance of protecting and sustainably managing cultural heritage as a key pillar for the development of resilient tourism destinations in the Mediterranean.
